Eric Traub

Senior Program Manager for WCS’s Markets Program and Forests and Climate Change Program

Eric Traub is the Senior Program Manager for WCS’s Markets Program and Forests and Climate Change Program. His responsibilities include project management, strategy, and coordination for NbS grants and initiatives primarily related to carbon finance and commodity-driven deforestation; identification and pursuit of new business opportunities; development of program materials including communication, strategic, and reporting documents; coordination of NbS events and conferences; and partnership building.

Prior to his current role, Eric worked in WCS’s government fundraising unit, conducted research and coalition building at the International Conservation Caucus Foundation, supported environmental communications at Discovery, Inc., and led grassroots advocacy campaigns at Green Corps. Eric holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University.
