Luca Guadagno is a GIS and Forest Monitoring Analyst for WCS. He works on emissions accounting and land cover change analyses in support of NbS project development and implementation. Prior to WCS, Luca researched forests and ecosystem carbon models as a research associate at the Yale Applied Science Synthesis Program (YASSP). Before YASSP, Luca managed multi-stakeholder dialogues around contentious topics in the forest sector including land use impacts of increasing markets for wood construction materials, carbon accounting for wood products, and landscape scale resource management at The Forests Dialogue. He holds a Master of Science degree from the Yale School of the Environment.
