Hear the sounds of humpback whales

The song of the humpback whale is one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. And yet, much about these majestic creatures remains a mystery. To celebrate World Whale Day, we have compiled some whale songs to give you the chance to hear. Together with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, WCS has deployed acoustic buoys in the New York Bight. We use these to listen in and learn about the whales nearby, so we can better protect them.
