Call for Ban on Domestic Ivory Trade

A big victory for elephants! At the IUCN World Conservation Congress, countries from around the world called for the closure of domestic ivory markets. "The global conservation community is stepping up," said WCS President and CEO Cristian Samper. "No more domestic ivory sales. Elephants have had enough of the ivory trade and so has the world."
