Lead, Forest Landscape Restoration

Tim Rayden leads WCS's work on forest restoration. He is a graduate of the Oxford Forestry Institute and has nearly 20 years of international experience in sustainable land management and forest restoration. He joined WCS’s Africa program in 2010 to help reduce the impacts of logging on wildlife in the Congo Basin, Now, based in the UK, he leads our engagement with Trillion Trees, developing his particular interest in forest restoration as a nature-based climate solution. Working with the Trillion Trees partners, he is developing new financing mechanisms for forest restoration at scale.
