Superhighway Moved Further

The Nigerian government has announced it will further shift plans for the superhighway, effectively sparing valuable Cross River rainforest habitat, home to the highly endangered gorilla.
In recent months, we generated over 135,000 signatures, received dozens of international press hits, and had scores of public and private meetings with Nigeria's state and federal governments as well as the Nigerian Embassy in Washington, D.C.
Let's let Nigerian lawmakers know we appreciate their response to our concerns and that we expect them to follow through on their promise.
