Opportunities in the Field
WCS works around the world to save wildlife and wild places. As a science-based conservation NGO, WCS operates in 64 countries and scores of field sites that represent the last of the wild. WCS’s global conservation program encompasses five regional programs (Africa, Asia, Latin America, Marine, and North America) as well as a series of thematic programs including but not limited to Health, Climate Change, Wildlife Hunting and Trade, and Landscape Ecology and Geographic Analysis.
Positions available in our global offices range from field research to conservation diplomacy and financial administration to program management. Many positions require technical and scientific expertise. While the opportunities are diverse they have one thing in common: the ability to make an impact on saving wildlife and wild places.
Staff receive a diverse benefits package, which corresponds with the nature and location of the position.
