Tiger Territory

Grades 5-8

One of the amazing things about tigers is their ability to survive and flourish in a wide variety of different habitats, from the snowy, frigid forests of Siberia to the steaming tropical rain forests of Southeast Asia. How does the tiger compare to other members of the feline family?  In this program, your students will make observations, take measurements, and identify different cat skulls to compare them to that of the tiger.  This program will culminate with a class visit to the Bronx Zoo’s cutting-edge exhibit, Tiger Mountain.
