Predators…and Prey

Grades 7-12

How are cheetahs able to hunt alone whereas lions hunt in groups? How are gazelles able to escape from the fastest-moving land animal? In this program, students will examine and observe the hunters and the hunted to determine the adaptations each has for eating . . . or avoiding being eaten! Students will participate in the Change Game, an exciting introduction to the balance that exists between predators and prey and the race that never ends.
