Mathmania

Grades 5-8

If you want to add flavor and excitement to your math lessons, bring your students to this extravaganza of zoological proportions. Why is it important for scientists to determine the population densities or territory sizes of endangered wildlife? Grade appropriate math exercises, animal demonstrations, and exhibit visits, will give students insight and an appreciation for the importance of mathematics in the study and conservation of wildlife. This program will make math relevant and downright “cuddly.”
