This early childhood professional development workshop will draw upon the theme of family connections. How is your family different or the same from animal families at the aquarium? Activities that highlight developmentally appropriate standards will be modeled for teachers, including pedagogical strategies such as nature and purposeful play. Take this opportunity to learn how to promote scientific thinking with your young learners through play and active engagement in a family-friendly, community setting.

Location: New York Aquarium

Date & Time: Thursday, June 7 from 8:30am-3:00pm
