WCS and SMART are up for a very cool award, but we need your help to win it. The People's Choice Award for the Wildlife Crime Tech Challenge is given to the project voted most innovative and impactful against wildlife crime.
Our entry would transform the way in which anti-poaching operations are coordinated and managed. SMART Connect would provide protected area managers real-time access to information on the locations of poachers, patrols, and key wildlife.
We have real evidence that enforcement works. This advance would support and empower the locals on the ground (such as those below) who are dedicated to stopping poaching.
