Siblings Don't Shake Hands

July 13, 2017

Looking for a pick-me-up? Watch Avatar and Jingles, sibling gorillas named by the researchers from the Mbeli Bai Study, hug it out.

Mbeli bai is a clearing in the Republic of Congo's Nouabale-Ndoki National Park. The study there is the longest running on the social organization, life history, and demographics of western lowland gorillas. These youngsters were both born to a group with a silverback named Conan in 2014.
