Rich With Wildlife

December 1, 2015

The Murchison Falls Protected Area in Uganda, on the banks of the Nile River, is bursting with biodiversity. In fact, it's twice as rich in wildlife as was previously thought, according to recent surveys by scientists. They identified 144 mammals, 556 birds, 51 reptiles, 51 amphibians, and 755 plant species, greatly expanding the number of known species for the area. Here are just a few of the residents.
