These folks are celebrating Ankivonjy, a stunning new marine protected area in Madagascar, which we helped create. It spans 140,000 hectares (read: a lot) of important coastlines, mangroves, reefs, and more. This includes a vital nesting site for green turtles and deep waters home to endangered whales.
