Explore Africa

Grades 3-4

This exciting interdisciplinary program offers a unique opportunity to explore the habitats and endangered wildlife of Africa. Students will be immersed in the African experience through up-close encounters with gorillas and visits to other African animals such as giraffes and gelada baboons.


Select the one class that best suits your needs, or better yet, join us for both classes to take advantage of a discounted price and an exploration that will open your students’ eyes to a world far away.

Choose 1 or both sessions listed below:

  • Wildlife and Habitats of Africa: Students travel on an Adapatations Scavenger Hunt and meet African animals up close.
  • Saving Africa's Wildlife: Students explore the plight of the endangered rhino and elephant and debate the gorilla's future.

Time: 2 hours/session
Fee: $250/session
