Discover what it takes to save the world's most incredible and endangered animals. Explore the basics of conservation biology and learn how scientists study animals in nature. This course will examine reasons for protecting wild nature and promoting biodiversity, using current case studies and focused zoo exhibit visits. Raise awareness on an endangered species of your choice through research, group work, and individual projects. This course will help participants learn strategies for bringing the interdisciplinary topic of conservation biology into the classroom.
