Take Action

Protect Elephants from Poaching

More elephants are being lost every day, illegally killed by poachers who sell their tusks on the black market. Over the last five years alone, the rate of elephant slaughter has dramatically increased, and we have to do all we can to stop it. Tell your legislators that elephants matter to you and to this world – and that Congress must help protect them.

Help Save Wild Tigers

Wild tigers could soon be slaughtered to extinction by poachers – unless we act now. The U.S. can help save these magnificent creatures, but only if Congress continues its support for international conservation programs. Help us make sure that lawmakers know what's at stake and urge them to take immediate action by sending a letter to your members of Congress.

Protect Afghanistan’s Threatened Wildlife

Despite years of conflict plaguing their native habitat, snow leopards, Asiatic black bears and other wildlife are surviving in parts of Afghanistan. But now, the U.S. government has threatened to slash funding to programs that have protected the country’s wildlife and improved local governance. Please urge your members of Congress to take a stand for international conservation funding in Afghanistan.

Save South Sudan's Great Migration

U.S. conservation programs are lending critical support to ensure a future for South Sudan's majestic wildlife. But Congress is threatening to pass steep spending cuts that would jeopardize these programs. Please tell Congress not to cut funding for international conservation programs.

Support Africa’s Gentle Giants

Gorillas are facing a three-fold struggle for existence: they are killed for their meat; their habitats are destroyed by logging, mining, agriculture, and other invasive activities; and infectious diseases ravage their families. Tell your members of Congress to rescue funding for gorillas before it’s too late.
