While Apple is debuting its "Snow Leopard" operating system, the Wildlife Conservation Society is debuting the real thing. WCS released today these camera trap pictures taken from the Sast Valley in Afghanistan's Wakhan Corridor. WCS researchers are conducting ongoing wildlife surveys in this remote area with the goal of establishing a protected area. They found this endangered cat in the attached pics willing to strike a pose or two.
