Uganda, Land of Beauty Photo
Uganda is a country of incredible landscapes and diverse wildlife, including the Ugandan kob, a handsome antelope that appears on the country's coat of arms alongside a crested crane.

WCS has a more extensive history of working in Uganda than any NGO, beginning in 1957 when we commenced biological surveys of the country's parks. We've been committed to Ugandan conservation efforts ever since. In the 1970s and 80s, we pioneered primate studies. Today, we're working on a variety of initiatives that range from assessing climate change to training eco-guards. Learn more here.
