By storing water in rotund trunks, baobab trees are able to endure long periods of drought. Where might you find these curious-looking plants? The majority of them sprout in Madagascar, a place of extraordinary biodiversity. We’ve been leading conservation efforts throughout this Indian Ocean island nation since the 1990s and recently celebrated its newly created natural park (the country’s largest).
