High Above the Kazinga Channel Photo
African fish eagles perch on branches overlooking waterways of sub-Saharan Africa, including here along the Kazinga Channel in Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park. The eagles will swoop down to catch fish, which they carry back to the perch or eat onshore. Queen Elizabeth Park is home to more than 600 bird species, the most of any protected area in East Africa.
