The United States Senate has a long history of identifying critical issues that impact our environment and leading policy development to address these concerns.  As human population growth,  global climate change, and emerging diseases continue to add increased pressures on our planet, amphibians around the world are threatened with the greatest extinction event since that of the dinosaurs. WCS is helping to save wildlife and the last remaining wild places by educating the United States Senate about species extinction rates, habitat loss, and climate change.
