The Advanced Inquiry Program (AIP) is an inquiry-driven learning experience that enables students to complete coursework on the web with Miami instructors while working in-person with WCS staff through exciting experiential learning and field study opportunities - at the Bronx Zoo, other WCS facilities, or at sites across the greater NYC area.

Applications to join our 2018 cohort will open in September 2017.

Eligibility

Enrollment is open to applicants with a bachelor's degree regardless of academic major or profession. It is designed for those with a passion for conservation, wildlife, and community-based work, whether in the field of education, conservation, animal care or others. Students must have completed at least one laboratory based biology course either prior to matriculation or before graduation.

Informational Open House at the Central Park Zoo - January 17th, 2018
Applications due – February 28th, 2018
Application Decisions announced – April 2018
Summer Courses Begin: May 22nd, 2018
