Educational & Environmental Programs
The Wildlife Conservation Society is dedicated to saving wildlife and wild places, and we do so through a combination of international conservation, education, and the management of the world’s largest system of urban wildlife parks. We care for more than 15,000 animals in our parks each day, and participate in 300 field projects in more than 50 countries worldwide. WCS is also committed to creating new advocates for the protection of wild animals and wild habitats among the 4 million annual visitors to our New York Zoos and Aquarium.
Your corporation can help ensure our mission succeeds by sponsoring the Wildlife Conservation Society’s educational and environmental programs here in New York or around the world.

Environmental Programs
WCS has been at the forefront of conservation and field research since its earliest days, beginning with a successful effort to save the American bison from extinction in 1907. To date, our work has helped to create more than 100 protected areas around the world, in landscapes and seascapes ranging from the coastal forests of Gabon to the coral reefs of Belize. These areas encompass some of the wildest places that remain on Earth, and are home to animals that are vulnerable to extinction, important to humans, and powerful icons of nature. Join us in the fight to save wildlife and wild places.
