You let the U.S. government know the importance of a federal ivory ban. That helped spur action in 2016, when the Obama administration enacted the 4(d) rule. Months later, China promised to follow suit.

78,564 origami elephants

Together, we set the Guinness World Records title for the largest display of origami elephants with submissions from all 50 U.S. states and 40 countries worldwide. This big event helped raise awareness about the elephant poaching crisis.

We encourage countries to destroy their existing ivory stockpiles in part to send a powerful message about the illegal ivory trade. We helped lead a prominent event in Times Square in the Summer of 2015, when the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service crushed a ton of confiscated ivory.
