On Dec. 25, 10 pm, CNN's Planet in Peril  reporter Lisa Ling travels to Chad’s Zakouma National Park, one of the last bastions of wildlife in central Africa. There, WCS scientist Mike Fay and his team are working to save a beleaguered herd of wild elephants. As Ling follows Fay, she discovers the devastating toll the ivory trade has taken on these endangered giants.

The award-winning documentary series Planet in Peril: Battle Lines features reports by Anderson Cooper, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and Lisa Ling from around the globe. They cover some of the most urgent issues facing the planet, and the conservation efforts caught in the crosshairs. As an organization at the frontlines of wildlife conservation around the globe, WCS is proud to be a part of this unique program. We urge our supporters—and anyone who shares our concern for wildlife—to tune in on December 11.
